A recreation of Degas’ Racehorses at Longchamp in a fragmented manner. The deconstruction allows for a better study of the forms used and brings a sharp clean edge to contrast with the blurry undefined paint strokes of the original painting. The background uses more organic divisions instead of the facets found on the horses as a way to distinguish background from foreground.
