Several variations of a poster for Oral Roberts University production of The Tempest. The director wanted contrasting water and lava textures with saturated colors. The play featured themes of greed, control and possessiveness. The poster represents those themes through the grasping hand reaching out as if to grab the text and viewer both creating an immersive viewing experience. The contrast between water and lava textures between the hand and background create division between forms and bring in the colors wanted by the client. The concept was reworked by another designer for display around campus.
